About Us
London Academy of Art and Design Ltd. (LAAD) is a UK-registered independent creative education provider. LAAD combines project-based art and design training with portfolio development, vocational study, and preparation for further education.
We conduct international-standard studies and training across the following artistic, cultural, and social fields:
At LAAD, we believe that artistic ability can be cultivated to the highest standard through strong foundations, expert guidance, consistent practice, well-structured projects, and an environment that respects both craft and creative ambition.
Although art education may appear accessible, it is a highly rigorous and disciplined programme. LAAD provides a dual-formation approach: while equipping students with technical vocational training, we simultaneously foster the development and responsibility of becoming an artist — enabling them to possess foresight and original ideas regarding the future.
Artists, through their talents, skills, and perspectives, are the observers of society who must generate innovative ideas and designs. LAAD is dedicated to providing this high calibre of education and formation in the United Kingdom, cultivating self-confident artists supported by both professional and personal development.
LAAD describes a consultation-led lateral-transfer pathway for eligible learners who complete its two-year vocational programme and wish to explore third-year entry at partner UK universities.
Entry is not automatic. It remains subject to each university's admissions decision, the learner's portfolio and prior study, and the pathway available at the time of application.
Note: Lateral-transfer pathways vary by institution and applicant profile. LAAD provides detailed guidance during consultation and enrolment enquiries. Eligibility is subject to documentation, availability, and each university's specific requirements.
LAAD programmes are designed to help learners build disciplined creative practice habits, practical project experience, and portfolios that support their next step in further study, employment, or independent creative practice.
