LAAD teaches entirely online, so studying here does not involve moving to the UK. Wherever you are, you take part in the same programme, in the same way.

Studying with LAAD does not require moving to the UK
LAAD is an online academy. There is no campus, no in-person attendance and no requirement to travel. The UK address is a correspondence address only.
Because you are not coming to the UK to study, a UK student visa is not part of applying to LAAD. The academy does not sponsor visas, does not issue Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS), and cannot advise on immigration.

This page is for you if you live outside the United Kingdom, or if your previous education was completed in another country's system — or both. Because teaching is online, neither of those is an obstacle.
LAAD's partnership with İstanbul Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi means the academy is used to working across two countries and two languages.

Read the programme pages and identify the route that matches your goal. The routes are the same wherever you are applying from.

Send an enquiry stating your country, your previous education, the programme you want and your time zone.

The academy reviews your background with you and confirms whether the route fits, or suggests a better starting point.

Send your documents and portfolio
Provide identification, records of previous study and examples of your work. The academy will confirm exactly what is required for your case.

Arrange enrolment and payment
Enrolment, fees and payment arrangements from outside the UK are agreed directly with the academy.

What you are likely to be asked for
- Photographic identification A passport or national identity document.
- Records of previous study Diplomas, transcripts or certificates from your own education system.
- Translations where needed If your documents are not in English or Turkish, the academy may ask for a translation. Confirm what standard of translation is acceptable before paying for one.
- Portfolio or examples of work Required for portfolio-focused and vocational routes; the academy will tell you the format.
- Contact details and time zone So sessions and consultations can be scheduled sensibly.

Qualifications
Overseas qualifications and equivalency
LAAD assesses applications individually rather than against a published table of country-by-country equivalencies. Your previous study is considered alongside your portfolio and your stated goals.
If you need a formal statement of comparability for a qualification, that is issued by national comparison services in the relevant country, not by LAAD.
Specific entry requirements per programme are confirmed by the academy and are not published on this site.
Language
Language of study
This site is published in English and Turkish. The teaching language, and any language expectation attached to a particular programme or intake, is confirmed by the academy — please ask before enrolling if this matters to you.
LAAD does not currently publish a required score in any English-language test. Do not book a test on the assumption that a particular one is needed; ask the academy first.
Practicalities
Time zones, sessions and equipment
Because teaching is online, scheduling across time zones is a normal part of how the academy operates. Tell admissions your time zone early so session times can be discussed realistically before you commit.
You will need a reliable internet connection, a device that can join video sessions, and the materials appropriate to your discipline. The academy will confirm the materials list for your programme.
Payment
Fees and paying from abroad
Tuition fees, instalment options and the methods available for international payment are confirmed directly by the academy. They are not published on this site.
When you enquire, ask which currency you will be billed in and which payment methods are available from your country, so there are no surprises.
No fee, discount or funding figure is published on this page. Any amount you are quoted should come from the academy in writing.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a UK student visa to study with LAAD?
No. Teaching is online and you are not coming to the UK to study, so a UK student visa is not part of applying. LAAD does not sponsor visas or issue a CAS. For official immigration information, use gov.uk.
Will I need to travel to the UK at any point?
No. LAAD is online-only and there is no in-person attendance requirement.
Will my qualifications from another country be accepted?
Applications are assessed individually, taking your previous study, portfolio and goals together. Send the details when you enquire and the academy will advise.
Do my documents need certified translation?
Possibly, if they are not in English or Turkish. Confirm with the academy what is acceptable before you pay for a translation.
Do I need an English-language test?
LAAD does not publish a required test or score. Ask the academy about the language expectation for your programme before booking anything.
How will sessions work in my time zone?
Tell the academy your time zone when you enquire so scheduling can be discussed before you enrol.
How do I pay from outside the UK?
Payment methods and billing currency are arranged directly with the academy. Ask about this during your enquiry.
Can I work in the UK while studying with LAAD?
Studying online with LAAD does not grant any right to live or work in the UK, and the academy cannot advise on immigration or employment rights. Any question about the right to work is a matter for official government guidance in the country concerned.
